Terry Marks-Tarlow, Ph.D.

Clinical and Consulting Psychologist

Psychotherapy

I work with a variety of women and men, from 18 to 80, with a wide range of concerns and hopes. Unlike others who specialize in a narrow range of problems, I expand into a broad band of life. What each has in common is a genuine desire to transform the quality of their lives, with the understanding that deep change takes time and hard work. My work with no two people looks the same. Sometimes we work on outer world issues, sometimes on inner world ones. Sometimes I help people become more self-aware concerning their unconscious, blind spots. Sometimes I help people put aside what they know in order to integrate and embody other facets of self.  Sometimes the focus is on the nuts and bolts of the therapeutic relationship. Always the mystery of the process is tailored to individual needs.
